I was 11 years old and I was a completely normal boy like everyone else. One day I took advantage of a time when my older brother was not home and gently started crawling through his things. A letter from a girl, uninteresting … a porn magazine … well yikes … and hey … what’s this? Fit … Fit-Plus? I remember that magazine as if it were today. It was one issue of Fit-plus magazine, buried deep beneath all the other “uninteresting” magazines, and Frank Zane was smiling on the cover. I read it all that day. The next day, I shared my experience on the way to school with a friend, and what was my surprise when he told me that there was a gym in the neighboring village! I couldn’t concentrate on anything at school that day and I was already looking forward to the evening when we wanted to go there …

I don’t know what drew me to the gym so much … Maybe it was an effort to cope with older brothers. Or maybe it was the will to try to catch up with my classmates from school, because after one measurement with a friend’s centimeter, I found that I had the smallest arm circumference of all the boys in the class. But I know one thing for sure now. After 10 years, I do not regret a single workout, I do not regret a single exercise and not a single minute spent in the gym …

You may be wondering why I started this article this way. I’ll tell you right away. I wanted to point out the fact that one small decision to visit a gym can completely turn your whole life upside down. You just fall for it, you are drawn to the great vortex of training, food and regeneration and there is no going back. Then, when it sometimes happens that you can’t exercise for a few days, you feel nervous and you can’t wait to dive again between the four walls full of iron and sweat.

I remember knowing absolutely nothing about strengthening in my early days. The only source of my information was a few magazines, I sometimes learned something from people in the gym, but no one took me too seriously, everyone thought it was just a momentary hobby of a little kid who needs no more attention. On the contrary, they betrayed me quite a bit from my new “hobby”. You will not grow up! You will have it small! You will not have children! Yeah yeah, I’ve heard this many times …

In my articles on successful training, I always emphasize the following three articles: nutrition, training and regeneration. But I always forget one thing. The most important part of success is your brain. Your knowledge is the force by which you transform your body beyond recognition. If you don’t know how to exercise properly, if you don’t know how to eat properly, if you don’t know what to do with supplementation or regeneration, you won’t really change your body anywhere. And that’s what you want, isn’t it? Fortunately, there are currently many resources where beginners can find the information they need. And I would very much like this site to become one of them. In the series of following articles, intended primarily for beginners, I will gradually focus on all the important steps to success from strength training, whether it is nutrition, drinking regime, split training, individual exercises, supplementation,
